There’s something timeless and effortlessly romantic about a wedding inspired by the coast—and Grace and Andrew’s wedding captured that feeling perfectly. With a palette of soft blues, crisp whites, and lush greenery, their Cape Cod-inspired wedding was a dream to design florals for. Held at The Colonial Country on a beautiful spring day, this wedding brought together elegant East Coast charm with meaningful personal touches.
The Couple’s Vision
“I grew up going to Cape Cod most summers and loved the hydrangeas that grew in all the yards,” the bride shared. “I knew I wanted to incorporate the blues, whites and greens into our wedding to give it a Cape Cod feel.” From the start, we knew hydrangeas would be the star of the show because of the bride’s love for them — with adds of elegant white roses, light blue delphinium delphinium, white ranunculus, and hints of greenery. We loved weaving these elements into each floral detail to honor the bride’s memories and bring her hydrangea love to Colonial Country Club.

Floral Highlights
– The Bridal Bouquet: A mix of blue and white hydrangeas of course, white garden roses, and spray roses, tied with a white satin ribbon. Classic traditional round bouquet.
– Bridesmaids Bouquets: Smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet!
– Ceremony Flowers: The ceremony featured two large arrangements at the altar on clear glass trumpet vases framing the couple beautifully during their vows.
– Reception Details: We filled the tables with low, garden-style centerpieces in clear glass compotes. Blue hydrangeas popped against crisp linens, while tea light votive candles added a soft, romantic glow. The head table was the showstopper with a lush blue and white hydrangea floral runner along the table – an eye-catching focal point.
An Unforgettable Moment
“I had been so nervous about that moment for months leading up to the wedding,” the bride said, reflecting on walking down the aisle. “But the moment the doors opened and I saw Andrew and all of our loved ones, the nerves completely disappeared and I just felt complete joy!” Moments like this are why we love what we do. Creating wedding flowers for such a powerful memory is always an honor.
Favorite Part of the Day
The bride shared, “Having all of our favorite people in one room to celebrate with us!” It’s a sentiment we hear often, and it’s what makes weddings so special—love, connection, and a room filled with beauty and joy.

Advice for Future Couples
“Enjoy your engagement! Try to get all the details finalized as soon as possible so that you can enjoy the rest of your engagement season with little to no stress.” We couldn’t agree more—especially when it comes to florals! Having a clear vision and trusting your vendors lets you focus on the joy of the engagement season.
Final Thoughts
It was such a pleasure to bring Grace and Andrew’s Cape Cod-inspired vision to life. The wedding flowers were truly a celebration of their story—traditional, timeless, and full of personal meaning. If you’re dreaming of romantic, coastal-inspired wedding flowers, we’d love to help make your vision bloom.
