About Your Florist
Wedding and event florist with over 8 years of experience in the industry. With a passion for creating beautiful and luxury wedding floral arrangement for my couples, I am dedicated to providing you an exceptional service and transparency in the pricing process.
After 11 incredible years as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, I’ve made one of the biggest (and most meaningful) decisions of my life: I’m officially leaving the corporate world to run my wedding and event floral company, Bright Eyed Blooms, full time.
This moment has been a long time coming—and it’s about more than just a career change. It’s about choosing joy, purpose, and presence.
The Journey Here
With a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Texas Christian University and a Master’s in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University, I built a career I was proud of in the defense and aerospace industry. I was fortunate to work on complex, high-impact projects at Lockheed Martin, surrounded by brilliant colleagues and mentors who challenged and inspired me daily.
But as the years passed, something unexpected happened. What started as a creative hobby—teaching flower arrangement classes—began to grow into something much bigger. Bright Eyed Blooms became a true passion project, and eventually, a full-fledged business that filled me with energy and purpose in a completely different way.

Family, Freedom, and Following My Calling
For the past few years, I’ve been juggling two full-time jobs: my engineering role and my growing business—all while raising two amazing little girls with my incredibly supportive husband. The truth is, I was constantly running on empty—trying to be everything to everyone, while feeling like I was missing out on the moments that mattered most.
This decision is about more than entrepreneurship—it’s about alignment.
It’s about being more present for the people who matter most. It’s about school drop-offs, dance recitals, family dinners, and building a life that reflects our values as a family. I want my daughters to see what it looks like to follow your dreams, take risks, and create something meaningful on your own terms.

What’s Next for Bright Eyed Blooms
With both feet (and my whole heart) now in Bright Eyed Blooms, I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead. I’m expanding our services, elevating our client experience, and bringing even more creativity and care to every event we design.
Whether it’s an intimate elopement or a full-scale wedding, my goal remains the same: to create intentional, joyful, beautiful experiences that reflect the unique love stories of our clients.
Thank You
To everyone who’s supported me along the way—my family, friends, colleagues, mentors, and especially our wonderful clients—thank you. Your encouragement, trust, and love made this leap possible.
To anyone standing at a crossroads, torn between the comfort of the known and the pull of the possible: You don’t have to choose between passion and practicality. You just have to choose courage.
Here’s to new beginnings, beautiful blooms, and being exactly where I’m meant to be.

Have a Blooming Day!
